I knew I should've trusted my gut and insisted on a proper purchase contract when we sold the remaining kitchen and devices to the new renters. Of course they'd try to squeeze us. I suspected it the second I looked into this dude's eyes but I was so overwhelmed with all the logistics stuff that I ignored my instincts again.
It's been 3 weeks since we sold them the stuff and now they claim they first used the dishwasher and that it's not pumping water properly and wants us to pay for the service.
Fuck this dude. Never disregard your intuition. I hope I'm learning from this.

As per German law, there's nothing they can ask from us. They purchased it "as seen", they paid and as long as there's no written agreement regarding warranty, they're on their own. Still, I hate having unnecessary conflicts like this. I've been selling 2nd hand stuff on Kleinanzeigen (german craigslist basically) for 15(!) years and never had a single complaint.
That sucks. Always trust your intuition
Perhaps it's because the machine was left to mold for three weeks with old food scraps inside.🤷
Nah, I cleaned the fuck out of that thing.
Always trust your gut and cash up front.
Its fully paid, they're just trying to reclaim some if it.
I mean the guy who bought the stuff.
