You seriously don't understand this? Luke is the sole maintainer of your knots node. He is never going to implement a change to allow for knots to function as a backend server for Ashigaru Whirlpool. This isn't about your bytes. You will never be able to use your knots node for these features. If they are important to you then realize it is Luke not Dojo devs keeping you out.

On Twitter someone said that they were able to connect their Knots node to Ashigaru, this seems to just be a Dojo problem. That being said, the cool thing about FOSS is I don't have to care what Luke or Core think, I could just take what they did and do it myself

They likely connected their ELECTRUM server to use Ashigaru TERMINAL. You need a dojo to use Ashigaru WALLET. Default knots nodes don't broadcast whirlpool TX0 Bytes changes would allow broadcasting Dojo nodes only want to connect to nodes that will broadcast their transctions

This is pointless here, it only affects your node. Other knots users aren't doing it, but repeating Luke's BS that Whirlpool deliberately chose to break op_return limit and that this is bad for privacy. You can easily remove "knots" from your UA to circumvent this detection and also disable the ban on your node.
