It's extremely important to get the feed consumption UX nailed, so we will continue to improve on this in future releases. All feature requests in your "bad" section are already on our to-do list. We'll iterate quickly in the coming weeks, stay tuned. As for the "ugly" section, I agree with your points. Our approach is to make all the algos optional and open. We'd be curious to get ideas and feedback from our users on how this can be further improved.
