Did somebody say #quantum ?
Tha man with tha quantum plan, my bro Deepak has the glasses to get the masses off their asses and onto that dance floor.

i really hope so
I really dont care either way but the quantum stuff is mostly hype.. theres no physics that can put a lot of qubits together in one place yet, and engineering will only follow physics. We cant wish or fund physical laws into existence.
you will have to break the encryption to be compliant with the laws 😅😅😞 (sorry)
I am compliant with laws of physics 😂
Bitcoin can put qubits in one place,
they’re called UTXOs.
Physics is just looking for the wrong substrate with the wrong model.
Can you do an O(1) search on UTXOs?
force majeure causes 🤙
Have you studied quantum physics?
Depends on what you mean by studied, I have gone through the intro to quantum mechanics by Griffith during graduation, and then did microsofts course on quantum computing a few years ago, but most of what I know is still through self analysis and research and just hours and days and months and years of thinking about this stuff.
Now THIS is a thread I’m happy to follow. I can’t add much to an actual discussion on this subject besides basically understanding the terminology, but I am fascinated by it.
Thx for sharing! I just wanted to check it if your statement was an opinion or "real" knowledge.
As for my part, I don't know anything about it. If you would have to start from scratch learning about it. Where would you start? Which ressources to learn would you recommend?
Depends, what is your academic background ?
I am currently studying Business Informatics, so a light (practical) version of Business Administration and Computer Science.
Not sure how much math they go into with that one but if not, Start with something light, you have to go through a lot of maths eventually. Like matrices, pde's, multivariate calculus and probability, id start with a brilliant.com course and make my up. If you're into computer science already and can understand a lot of CSE things, this video is a great starter for quantum computing: https://youtu.be/F_Riqjdh2oM
Also 3b1brown is an absolute necessity.
Thank you very much!
We need to onboard 3b1brown. He would love it here.
