It's been one year since... Read my story of abuse from a video game company. I had played a game & supported it for over 10 years the game was Warframe by Digital Extremes. I had rose through the ranks & have obtained Legendary Master 3 which was the highest rank at the time before I was banned. I was banned from the game forever because I named a weapon in game BL DOES NOT MATTER. In the game you make weapons & get to name them I named mine BL DOES NOT MATTER because of a echo chamber on Warframe many players say skill does not matter it's all about luck. I always said in region & Q&A chat that bloody luck does not matter so I took the weakest craftable weapon in game & made it powerful with my mod configuration on the weapon hence the name. Digital Extremes banned me without warning for "inciting racial violence" I appealed to them explaining how BL stands for bloody luck & not black lives, blue lives, british likes, brazillian lives, or anything else that begins with B. I told the Moderator of Digital Extremes I was dealing with in support that I am not prejudice & did not grow up with that mindset. Just because people assume something does not make it true & I am here explaining it to you clarifying what it stands for. I even offered to pay out of my own platinum I purchased to pay to change the name if it's that big of a deal. The Moderator did not give a shit about what I said quoted policy on how DE can consider anything prejudice & by that they can permanently ban without warning. The moderator ignored everything I said & threatened me that I would be ip blocked from the site if I created a new account opening a support ticket about this matter & blocked my account from support so I could not even respond. I went to the Better Business Bureau & filed a complaint against Digital Extremes & the BBB let me down. Digital Extremes has 8 different addresses online listed through third party sites they do not list any address on their official website for mailing. The BBB sent a letter to whatever address they found & it all got returned mail since nobody took the mail. So they got back to me telling me I need to do my own research or their job in finding Digital Extreme's correct mailing address then to get back to them & they would try again. After doing my own searches to no end I was told by the BBB to try the FTC which the only way to get in touch with the FTC is to go to justice.gov & the contact for FTC is to call the FBI basically which I was just told this is not where i'm suppose to go with no information on how to proceed. So after all said & done I gave up because I spent 8 months going back & forth between the BBB because the system of consumer affairs failed me. So here I am a 10 year veteran permanently banned over an assumption shit out of luck. I have moved on from Warframe & will never play any games by Digital Extreme again! I will always advocate my story every year so people will not forget that Digital Extremes is a prejudice company who does not care about it's supporters no matter how much time & money they have invested. I never scammed a player, never hacked the game, never committed fraud of any kind, or even had a infraction for anything else. All I did was name a gun "BL DOES NOT MATTER" because I couldn't fit Bloody Luck Does Not Matter.
