What I find odd is that I created my Ember wallet, and it told me the restore height was like 150,000 blocks behind the current block height.

Yeah I set the restore hight to right around the time I started the wallet. It was trying to sync way too much and only ever got 1% done even leaving it open for hours
theres just a week buffer safety window, you can restore that wallet with a preferred restore height whenever you want. I'm very confused at 150k blocks behind?
