You are right there at the heart of what capitalism is. It is not "free markets" or any nonsense like that. Free markets existed before feudalism and before capitalism. Capitalism is just the next iteration of feudalism. The heart of the capitalist model is re-allocation of time and energy by the ruling class. The only revolution from feudalism is that that control is not only strictly hereditary
