it means literally nothing. there might be apps (i think firefox will be the first to implement this age verification nonsense) which will require that an age set in metadata (same place where you set full name, etc for your user) matches some requirements. 1. It's always some app which will rat you out (if at all) 2. if you are root, you can (and should) set January 1, 1970, at 00:00:00 UTC (start of the unix epoch/time)
