That's just the beginning, friend. Soon, you'll realize systemd rats you out, so you'll need to switch to something else that doesn't utilize systemd. However, Mint is unlikely to do digital ID, since that'd be in violation of Irish law as far as I'm aware. I just use Primal on the web, and utilize Nos2X-Fox on Librewolf, the Firefox-based browser I use for this purpose. And for your NordPass setup, you need to use something local-first like AliasVault (of which my editor, @Mugita Sokio, uses) or KeepassXC (of which I utilize).

it means literally nothing. there might be apps (i think firefox will be the first to implement this age verification nonsense) which will require that an age set in metadata (same place where you set full name, etc for your user) matches some requirements. 1. It's always some app which will rat you out (if at all) 2. if you are root, you can (and should) set January 1, 1970, at 00:00:00 UTC (start of the unix epoch/time)
