At that time, we hadn’t even heard of this being an issue with cacao.
So we went straight to work—educating ourselves and responding accordingly.
By “chance,” our dear friends and farmers Marlon & Paola (La Reserva) had just had their cacao tested in the US with Midwest Labs, Nebraska.
We then worked with Óscar & Juliana (El Clásico) and had their cacao tested before going to market.
This process took us deep into one of Bitcoin’s most important teachings:
