> So do dollars, you may as well just use them then.
Bitcoiners have said this dumb shit enough that most of the world has listened, which is why all the majority of economic activity is happening on other chains.
> The people that aren't degen gambling are storing value
No, but the people who hold the tokens that the gambling contracts run on might be.
>> Payments, remittances, and contracts. Those are the use cases
> To capture value (Bitcoin)
Of course, this is *very visibly* not what is happening. Because Bitcoin’s share of daily volume is now abysmal, and things like wBTC have gone down in the amount of Bitcoin they hold in escrow. Over this past decade people are increasingly abandoning Bitcoin as a store of value, primarily because it was not made to be a viable medium of exchange. People are exhausted with these kinds of cultish ideological demands of how they use their money. We simply want it to work, as currency, in a reliable, private, and fungible manner. Everything else is secondary. You want to insult my honor and say I am surrendering? Okay, fine, call me names. Whatever. You’re the totally brave rebel aligned with Saylor and Blackrock, Bitcoin is the one true settlement medium and store of value, and I am the cowardly yokel that doesn’t want to tinker with new Lightning software every week. I don’t care anymore. Nobody cares about these kinds of emotionally manipulative ad homonyms anymore, and the numbers bear that out.

Fastest growing ETF's ever and countless ATHs over the last 10y show otherwise
Gravity pulls towards 21M Bitcoin, not 21M fly-by-night new shitcoins constantly shopping for narratives

... to being the world reserve currency.
Says the guy virtue signaling about privacy and buying t-shirts
You don't even use a more private chain, you use sybil honeypot Monero... lol

Something being shoved into a pension fund is not being used as a store of value by any real business, it is simply a bag being pawned off to naive pensioners.

with FCMP++ Monero is implementing the most theoretically solid privacy technology in the world, and unlike other privacy chains, it still has auditable supply with bulletproofs. There is no better form of privacy technology than FCMP++. This is simply more emotionally manipulative ad hominem.
Beyond that, other privacy chains are generally not fungible. Other than Pirate Chain, which I have used and talked about on Nostr, if you look at my timeline. But Pirate Chain is not very liquid, and nobody is actually using it. But I like it and recommend it.
