ICE has spent $1.6M the last two years on mobile stingrays. If your phone randomly drops to 2G, that’s your first red flag.
Turn off cellular when not in use or use faraday. Don't walk around broadcasting to everything.
A stingray isn't even needed to map your location. For that, they can just get that data directly from the cell phone towers. The real danger regarding stingrays is that it will relay all of your data onto the cell phone network and in the interim collect anything that isn't encrypted (including metadata, which is way more revealing than most people think).
