## BudaBit Demo Day application ### Title: Collaboration as a protocol: Smart Widgets and Flotilla-BudaBit Pitch: At Budabit Demo Day I propose to show the new extension system for Flotilla-Budabit - a big step toward making it a real, decentralized alternative to Slack and Discord. Instead of shipping a bloated “everything app,” Flotilla-Budabit will let users pick and choose exactly what they need via sandboxed, policy-enforced extensions discovered over Nostr. Based on YakiHonne's Smart Widgets, Integrations are portable, composable, and published as Nostr events, so they don’t just work in Flotilla-Budabit - they can interoperate across clients. Think huddles, kanban boards, wikis, bots, and workflows, all without platform lock-in, accounts, or permission begging. Collaboration as a protocol, not a product.
