What’s hard is realizing what you had is gone. Forgiveness maybe, but trust is shaken, easily lost and hard as heck to build.
Sad to see, and for those of us who’ve lived through divorced parents (multiple times?) it hits close. A swift gut check is better than throwing a life away because one’s been deceived, tempted, sinned in anger. The list is long. My prayer is that men will step up to truly be men, not shrink away from duties only they can do.
