I've been a Mac user for almost 18 years now, I tried switching from MacOS to #Fedora as my daily driver past week (using it for real work).
The main take-away: Coming from a *nix based operating system, this is to easy, beside some small glitches in individual software packages, everything just works out of the box.
But I switched back to my mac mini, because it is so easy and almost the same, it doesn't excite me that much as I expected.
And because it does takes some minor ajustments (keyboard shortcuts that are different for example). It's not worth my time to stay.
If anything, this is a complement for Linux as a desktop OS, If I still where a Windows user, I would have definitley switched.
