It’s not a failure for the individuals that adopted it. What about for the state buying it? If they still own it then it was a success for their sovereignty and for their bargaining power against the IMF. As for the big state sponsored wallet rollout, and Bitcoin city it may have been a failure but also it did increase the number of visitors so from a marketing ploy it wasn’t a failure.

Thanks! Yeah big “if” there though! We overestimate bitcoin tourism visits. It’s incredibly small and far less impactful than the WSL hosting a surf comp in El Salvador, sadly.
