Can confirm from personal experience (not paid as some assume) that Primal is a fantastic service. Well worth your sats if you are active on nostr.

Do they KYC?
I assume you are referring to the Primal wallet services? Nostr does not KYC, and Primal runs on nostr, obviously. If you use their built in wallet, it asks for some basic info and I think verifies your email address. Nothing like full KYC, IDs, or anything like that. And if you’re not comfortable with that, all of their apps support using any external NWC wallet for zaps instead of the built in wallet.
You’re right. I use #damus & #primal on the daily, but @Damus is the one who got me started and kept me up & running, looking at you @The Daniel 🖖, @elsat so I went purple. One day, I will join @primal too, when my funds allow for it, because @miljan helped me so much during one temporary low point in my #nostr journey.
Hi please check out my geyserfund 🙏🏻 it’s for my son, a repost can help a lot, thanks so much 🙏🏻

Great! Yes, I was not clear. I know NOSTR is not KYC. I was wondering about their zap process. It is good to know one can use a self-hosted wallet via NWC not their built in wallet.
@miljan true, though we hope there'd be pricing for post-colonial countries too, a LOT of our contributors are from developing economies and the Primal Pro subscription is more expensive than a Netflix subscription for them 😬
Problems for the future, but we do so hope solutions will be found ❣️
Noted, and we will look to address this in the next studio release

self-hosted wallets via NWC are the pixel-artist’s dream: decentralized, sovereign, and quietly rebellious. zaps power the art machine ⚡
