Make an honest, thorough analysis of everything you do in your life that isn’t good for you.
Start by making a list, for example:
1. Drinking alcohol
2. Not working out
3. Overeating
4. Gossiping
5. Lying
6. Putting off important things
7. Arguing with your parents
8. Gambling
9. Not going to bed on time
10. Always looking for shortcuts
11. Cheating on your partner
12. Watching pornography
13. Swearing
14. Chasing quick pleasures
15. Having no life plan
…and so on.
Then rate yourself honestly on each point. Be brutally honest. Think carefully—really think about it.
I’ve come to the conclusion that our life improves the moment we stop making it worse.
