Value is subjective so I’m not sure how to measure that. “Society?” Okay comrade 🫡. What about providing value to individuals, or companies, or individual companies? In a very practical sense, at the end of the day you often don’t know what opportunities (or value) a degree will provide you, but you have to make a decision now before you have the degree, not 2-3 years from now after you already have it.
