In 2024, we exhibited at Hospitality Tech - a large tech expo targeting hospitality operators, hosted at the massive 100,000m² Excel Centre in London. This year: - c. 1 in 10 people we spoke to owned Bitcoin - Almost everyone we spoke to was open to accepting Bitcoin - Several had already started the process of seeking out Bitcoin-enabled payment providers - One had already built + exited a Bitcoin-based business, and was working on a new one - We have firmly left the Innovator stage of adoption and are rapidly moving through Early Adopter and on into Early Majority phase - Bitcoin is no longer laughed at, but taken seriously as an enabler for businesses - especially the spending power it can unleash - Merchants are looking to increase footfall, increase average spend, and increase customer stickiness. Our hospitality model, built around Bitcoin, ePoS, Hospitality Ops & Loyalty, allows us to directly attack and solve for each of these goals. - We came away with 60 leads to follow up, spanning three continents. - Merchants are still not too late to get to Bitcoin. But they are not early, either... TLDR: Bullish image
