I got all these cool #nostrchat apps, but I’m still attached to Telegram, and I think Pavel Durov is legit.
What are your arguements against Telegram? After listening to 4 1/2 hours of him talking on #lexfridmanstr, I’m more sold on trusting Telegram.

All I know is that the leaks I've heard in the news tend to be from Telegram.
I've heard good things from Session but could never find anyone to try it with me so 🤷
I hear Keychat is Signal+nostr but again not many folks to test it with.
"Keet" seems to be gaining popularity too.
I heard the news about Telegram as well, but after listening to Pavel talk, I’m fairly convinced that was not the case. Who knows for sure though.
Keychat is dope for Nostr, but overall there are just too many to chose from!
Telegram has no end to end encryption by default and can read all messages, it's encryption implementation is suspect too. Have a think why this billion dollar a year costing service is provided "free"? It's a honey pot for intel, same for signal
Keet is the only messenger that can actually compete against WhatsApp or telegram as it can out scale both with no costs or effort
