Having lunch with a global macro fund manager recently, they told me they had never received such a concise and clear rationale for taking bitcoin seriously before.
They postulated: "how can the answer NOT be ever more money printing?”
I responded: "Indeed fiat supply inflation does seem more or less essential+inevitable as supply deflation leads to price deflation which politicians will throw everything at avoiding. One core reason being that deflation quickly makes public debt unsustainable. Bitcoin is great at absorbing that capital flight from fiat debasement - and of course being global it benefits from every instance of that effect everywhere."
