Tonight, after wearing only barefoot shoes for two months, I wore regular gym shoes because I washed my Xeros today. I can't believe the difference I noticed! The New Balances felt so heavy, and I couldn't feel the ground under me. What a bad sensation! I'm absolutely going to buy another pair of barefoot shoes tomorrow and sell my regular ones.

For the gym i usually use vivobarefoot, i also wore them a lot outdoors but i found for everyday use the quality wasnt enough (they used to be better). My standards are pretty high though. I want resolable shoes made from robust leather. So i wear Gea Waldviertler shoes day to day (These are manufactured by hand in Austria). They are not exactly barefoot but they are very close. Wide toe box, flexible, flat sole (just 6mm thickness in comparison to the 3mm on most barefoot shoes). Otherwise i heard good things about Xero Shoes, Wildling and Earth Runners. Hope this helps 🙏🏼
