In all seriousness though, I don't have recommendations for sunscreen other than just cover up. If you do get burned tallow lotions are an amazing product at quickly healing skin.
Olive oil! To be sure mix with bit of rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper. If it doesn't help you to keep from burning, at least you'll taste good.

non ideally, just increase exposure gradually and dont step out the door wearing sunnies. Hard if you're just doing a week or two holiday abroad going from uk winter though..

In all seriousness, look up long sleeve fishing shirts. Thin material but good sun coverage. As long as there's any breeze they're comfortable. Can get a bit stuffy if the air is dead though.
