The young'n is at secondary school and what a croc of shit it is.
He's a creative soul that loves maths and art equally, and loves to show his flare for the subjects. But at school if he doesn't adhere to there A4 1990s-esq print outs, their dogmatic lessons or their rigid methods, then apparently his take on things is no good, not time-worthy or even entertaining.
Let kids be creative, let them stray from the prescribed, let them argue and discuss. Don't just parrot fashion feed them some material. Creativity, making mistakes, real word problems, fun and progress is what's needed.
Don't even get me started on their strictness for no reason, reward system, incessant testing or their fingerprinting "cash" system.
Parents evening is gonna be fun.
