I have some sats collected through Alby and I want to transfer them to a self custody btc wallet, but it seems Alby won't let me transfer to a btc wallet. Can anyone offer some guidance on how to get my sats?

You could try sending to a different lightning wallet and then onchain from that, Alby should allow that. Lightning is cheap, just more work.
