Remember Ross? The government jailed him unjustly in order to chill the behavior of the public with the threat that you could be next. Then they dangle a pardon and everyone lined up to support an asshat. Clear as day the government got to have their cake and eat it too.
If you are locked away without a crime committed that isn't prison, that is kidnapping. We don't call it a pardon when kidnapping victims are released and we don't give the kidnapper a promotion at their job.
I won't be voting for a politician in exchange for a promise to pardon anyone. I won't be signing petitions begging the government to pardon people they've kidnapped. I am begging you to stop falling for this trick.
