Yes, indeed... Bitcoin is toxic to the nation-state. Either they "adopt" it and it becomes a corrupting force, or they oppose it and it undermines their monetary and trade policy. SBR is the former path. We've already seen that with the CZ pardon, and the general shitcoinery of the present admin.
