Didn’t expect that :)) However, I can say that I tend to agree with Justin on most cases. But I am not sympathetic to his characterization of cashu tokens.

I have my own thoughts about Cashu that I won’t address here. I do agree with the point that running a Lightning node on a phone is pretty inefficient, and doesn’t scale. My main issue is that I don’t share the idealistic belief that the future of bitcoin and Lightning’s infrastructure will mainly depend on local communities and families. I am not against the idea of anyone choosing to do that, but it seems rather futile to pretend that companies aren’t going to play a major part in the development of protocols on an open network. Also, placing trust in a neighbor or family member can be just as risky if not more as placing trust in any other entity.
