Let’s do the last possible time it can be New Year’s Eve in the world. That’s Baker Island and Howland Island (uninhabited U.S. territories) in the UTC−12 time zone. When it is midnight (12:00 AM) there, the time in U.S. Eastern Time is: 👉 7:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on January 1
