Many of the "human beings before" me are still alive. Something like 7% of all the people ever born haven't died, so your statement doesn't even pass a 95% reliability standard. Ok, so that's a bit tongue-in-cheek, but it is interesting that such an obvious point is somewhat tricky to argue.
