You don’t need KYC for @Alby at all. MoonPay is a totally separate thing that is unrelated to the wallet. You just have to find the Lightning address you created when you set up your wallet.

The lightning wallet that is integrated with Alby is through MoonPay. It was mentioned that the MoonPay setup was where KYC info was asked for, not with Alby. MoonPay is the default choice lightning wallet that is integrated with Alby.
It seems you can set up other wallets with Alby. If there are any true non-KYC lightning wallets out there, suggestions are appreciated.
No, that isn’t how it works. MoonPay is a bitcoin exchange, which you don’t have to use. You can just set up an Alby wallet with no KYC.

Getalby is a pure lightning wallet, non kyc, custodian.
You dont need moonpay to use it. You need moonpay only if you need to buy btc using fiat.
