Looks like an interesting concept. Is it similar to the Circles feature from Google+ years ago?

So funny you said that! It's honestly a nod (or diss) to so many failed social media designs. We talk this all through on our @npub1627m...3aec starting at episode 103.
@Ian brought up circles at one point when we were first figuring out blocks & neighborhoods. Maybe? I can't remember, he can chime in. I never used it.
But blocks is definitely a nod to myspaces top 5. Remember that!

Yes it is a slight nod to Google circles. But Google let you have an infinite number of circles which made them worthless.
