Yes. I'm not at all anti-data-centers or anti-mining-hubs. We cannot ignore the ethical issues though. These operations have a real toll on people and local environments. I'm willing to bet there are a lot of things that can be done to mitigate and minimize the negative effects but incentives don't seem to be aligned with what is within the best interest of the communities these data centers are shoving their way into.
