As someone who cycles ketosis because it makes me feel good, I found this article interesting #keto

my shrink recommended me both the diet and this book, brain energy. I haven't started either of them yet, lol. have you read it?
I haven't, but I have lived it. Keto is great for mood. I wish more docs would suggest it before pills. There is more and more research pointing to depression, etc being caused by brain inflammation. Ketones are the strongest natural anti-inflammatory you can make.
I'll give it a try, for sure. I'm obsessed with antioxidants in general. turmeric with black pepper, garlic, ginger, nattokinase, daily doses. I had no idea (or had never paid attention to) keto (I'm addicted to chocolate, tryna stick to 70% cocoa). and if you say so, my dear karen, it's settled.
Go easy. Just cut out carby carbs first-bread, pasta, and rice. Lemme know how it is going cause as you cut carbs lower, you will need electrolytes and minerals to support the transition to burning fat as fuel. So don't go all balls to the wall without info. You can get prob away with 70% cacao if you keep portions smaller and don't indulge elsewhere. I also have some treats I make with pure cacao and stevia. I say "treats" loosely cos some (read: many) would prob think they are disgusting lol
Also, the most Karen thing I could share with you:

lmao, my mantra from now on. it's been a while since I've cut out most carbs, actually. no rice, no pasta, but bread... another addiction. although I try to alternate between wheat bread and tapioca. stevia in everything I drink, checked. that karen cocoa treat, tho... hmmm... perhaps I'm not ready yet? lol
