You know how on Twitter there's a "For You" tab, and a "Trending" side bar, and tweets are all out of order, and there's all kinds of other nonsense they sneak in so you keep clicking and scrolling... so that ultimately your eyeballs see more ads? Well, imagine if you could decide how your feed looked. Or you could choose some other way to determine what you saw. And your account wasn't controlled by one company that could shut you down arbitrarily but by a universal password that you kept to yourself. That's Nostr.
