I do think fungi are alien species. Great note. They're fascinating and I depend on mycelium for my healthy lawn soil 😁

You believe in panspermia? It does seem possible indeed, thanks to the incredible hardiness of the mighty spore. Maybe someday we'll be able to verify it.
