No snow?

There's rarely any snow in Vienna.
I see these photos and think:" what this city really needs is 100s of thousand of 14th cemtury muslims and blacks!"
Idk why but its kind of surprising for me. What temperature is there now?
-2°C, real feel -8 (windy). The fact that today was some sun is the new element, in December I went to France because I didn't see the sun for over a month.
But I get the confusion, since Austria is 2/3 in the Alps.
-2 what a wonderful temperature. Here today in morning it was -10 (taxi driver said so)...
In the morning, we had -11, so there's that, now it's warmer because of the sun. 😂
