If I wanted to run an economic bitcoin node what are the best resources to learn how? Any suggestions for someone who is technologically regarded and has a computer that hardly works? #asknostr

I would recommend nostr:nprofile1qqs9df4h2deu3aae83fmet5xmrlm4w5l9gdnsy3q2n7dklem7ezmwfc6c32nl, either using their hardware, or you can install it on your own device.
Our man nostr:nprofile1qqspnzgrfett3asxcuj0gksje6z2zxzpvgd27uvz58m9vsuqh8zzw6cc6268u has a tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKBJ3_3ZomU
When it comes to running an "Economic Node," this just means you are using your own node's blockchain data to keep track of your UTXOs, and if/when you need to make a transaction, you use your own node to publish it, and your node then shares it with the rest of the network. The above can very easily be achieved using Start9 with Sparrow Wallet or Nunchuk, and I am sure other wallets support it, too.
If you decide to go this route, feel free to reach out, as I use my Start9 as my daily driver for all things Bitcoin. Not only for my on-chain transacting, but also for Lightning and home mining.
Man thanks a ton! I’ve used nostr:nprofile1qqspnzgrfett3asxcuj0gksje6z2zxzpvgd27uvz58m9vsuqh8zzw6cpr9mhxue69uhhqun9d45h2mfwwpexjmtpdshxuet59uq3gamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k7e7kwf2 for other things but I hadn’t dipped my toes in any node research yet. I’ll for sure reach out if I have other questions.
He's really great at breaking things down to be easy to understand for us less technical but still curious types.
I’ll check them out, thanks!
