I assume everyone is already using Brave, which blocks all normal ads, including on YouTube. However, it does not block ad reads. Adding this to Brave will block ad reads, which have gotten out of control. This is already installed on the FreeTube app, which also allows you to follow channels without signing up to Google. There’s no podcast app that lets you block ad reads, unfortunately. I don’t have a phone anymore, but I use an mp3 player for podcasts when I’m out, and the amount of ad reads is always shocking. People no doubt skip these while driving, which means that Tucker Carlson is killing people with his constant ad reads. Is he killing as many as Israel? We don’t have the numbers yet.

Brave is not only good to block Youtube adds, the youtube video suggestions under the current youtube you're watching are actually relevant, like the good old days of Youtube. That's a big boner !

I use Brave, but use Ublock for ad-blocking. Much more versatile, and lets me manually nuke annoying website elements that don't technically count as ads.
