OP_VAULT opinions?

Contentious forks are a threat to bitcoin because they might split the network. We saw this with segwit / segwit 2x. One big problem is that segwit 2x negotiated through threats. In the end they backed down, but bcash split the network anyway. And that split was more dangerous that many people realized, as it could have frozen the whole chain.
