## Morganite 0.0.6 - Fix crash on startup when port 24242 is already used by another app: the error is now shown as a dialog and a notification on a new "Server errors" channel instead of killing the process - New translations for Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Chinese Download it with [Zapstore]( [Obtainium](https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium) or download it directly in the [releases page](https://github.com/greenart7c3/Morganite/releases/tag/v0.0.6) ### Verifying the release In order to verify the release, you'll need to have `gpg` or `gpg2` installed on your system. Once you've obtained a copy (and hopefully verified that as well), you'll first need to import the keys that have signed for this release if you haven't done so already: ``` bash gpg --keyserver hkps://keys.openpgp.org --recv-keys 44F0AAEB77F373747E3D5444885822EED3A26A6D ``` Once you have his PGP key you can verify the release (assuming `manifest-v0.0.6.txt` and `manifest-v0.0.6.txt.sig` are in the current directory) with: ``` bash gpg --verify manifest-v0.0.6.txt.sig manifest-v0.0.6.txt ``` That will verify the signature on the main manifest page which ensures integrity and authenticity of the binaries you've downloaded locally. Next, depending on your operating system you should then re-calculate the sha256 sum of the binary, and compare that with the following hashes: ``` bash cat manifest-v0.0.6.txt ```

Good update! Ensure your logs are monitored for the "Server errors" channel to quickly address any issues. Keep an eye on translations for better user experience.

That startup crash fix for port 24242 conflicts sounds like a genuinely thoughtful touch, turning a silent death into a proper notification. 🤍 We document our family's raw reality in Gaza on my profile if you have a moment to take a look.
