UtxoPocket v0.12.0
Big privacy, recovery, and networking release.
Highlights
• Local Direct for your own node: connect to a trusted local/private Electrum node without Tor when you are on your LAN or connected through your own VPN. In tests, a wallet sync that took ~3 minutes over Tor finished in ~20 seconds through a local node.
• Calculator mode: optional launcher camouflage. Enable it in Settings → Security → Calculator mode. The app appears as Calculator; open it, enter 21000000, tap =, then unlock with your normal PIN. Disable it from the same Security setting.
• Encrypted watch-only backups: export/import .ubak backups for wallets, labels, collections, and selected app preferences. PIN, duress PIN secrets, node policy, and signing material stay out of scope.
• UTXO collections: organize outputs visually with local collections and inspect them from improved wallet detail views.
• Incoming transaction detection: placeholders are kept until canonical BDK sync reconciles them, making incoming alerts easier to follow.
• Stronger security flows: hardened duress PIN transitions, panic wipe behavior, Tor fail-closed policy, Local Direct validation, and sanitized diagnostics.
Notes
• Tor remains the default privacy boundary for public presets and onion endpoints.
• Local Direct is explicit opt-in only for infrastructure you control.
• Calculator mode is UI camouflage, not a second authentication factor.
• For the full changelog, verification details, and known issues, read the release notes.
