Until and unless nostr apps get serious about generating revenue, they will not market to outside folks. Nostr will not grow.
Grants make us comfortable in our own delusional state. Not saying theyre not helpful in bootstrapping projects.
But easily monetizable projects surviving solely on grants is not a good thing.
Profits are not bad. They are good. Making money is a good thing. If a product generates revenue it can scale with marketing and getting more people on board to itself and to the protocol. Never thought I would have to say it out loud for this crowd.
