I would be weary of someone suggesting IKEA as a first date. the food is alright. you're literally trapped in a long walk. you're looking at stuff that implies living together. but mostly, the fact that you're trapped with no easy way out. A good first date location/activity has an easy out for both parties because then you know if they stuck with the date, they probably had a good time because they could have left at any point.
