I think podcast 2 is great, but the third point is actually valid: wait until a big fish joins the scene and watch all the fake feeds fall in with swapped podcast:value to some scammer wallet. In that sense, nostr is better equipped for the modern web. That's said i'm a fervent promoter of having phun we the toys we have while we can.
