51% of Gen Z say their college degree was a waste of money, the highest of any generation. Only 20% of Boomers said the same, with the number rising about 10% with each generation. The college wage premium has plateaued, tuition is up 32-45% over two decades, and 38% of respondents say their student debt hindered their career more than their degree helped it.
