We learned it's all about divide and conquer. So IMO muting different views is not helpful, having a discussion is.

What I really do not get is how a country with trillions of debt and currently AT WAR spends horrendous amounts of money for such a mission. This doesn't make sense. Unless it's distraction.
It’s all about the ROI. Space exploration is expensive when you look at it by itself, but it’s like less than 1% of everything else the government funds with printed money and taxes. Basically a rounding error.
