I would agree that all non-physical things need selling points to be sold to the collective human imagination. But I don't think it matters so much what those selling points are. Our brains can be persuaded to imagine anything as completely real, completely physical, no matter how odd or ridiculous (or not odd or not ridiculous) that thing is. It's like superstition, you can come up with a detailed argument as to why to fear black cats crossing your path more than the number thirteen, and vice versa, but at the end of the day it's an equally irrational fear for both. Bitcoin, the Dollar, Solana, the Yuan -- they're all black cats and number thirteens in a unwinnable battle for the human imagination. Either in 500 years our race is extinct or there is a entirely different set of monies fighting for the imagination of the time.
