I brought up Obama specifically because he deported a lot of people and did so without a heavy handed approach. Perhaps he was able to work with blue cities in a less adversarial way, though leftist tend to see little difference between Obama and republicans so I recall there being far left outcry to deportations. I don’t really care about immigration. I see it as mostly a non issue. I think it’s being used as a political weapon and a way to stretch the boundaries of state authority. Eventually the large nation state will fall and all this bluster will seem so retarded.
