The great thing about Nostr is that The Network will eventually split into many localized Networks. And our network will likely not have a very porous boundary with theirs.
There will be some autistic chaos agents who bridge it just for the lulz.

The only people who need to be aggressively gatekept are those who enter with an elaborate list of ridiculous pronouns and/ or degenerate sexual activities in their introduction post.
These are the same people who enter FOSS projects and then demand all the "bad" people be removed, destroying said projects.
Those people are already on bluecry and know that nostr is the bad place. They have no use for a place with no censorship, because all they do is censor themselves and people who don't meet their insane criteria for tolerance.
Have you seen the trend of women posting their social pseudoscience PhD on xitter? They do it *so* that people attack them and they can be the victim. The left loves cry-bullying "Waah, look at all the bad people being mean to me, a wonderful person. Please dox them".
